A finance app that does not need your bank password

Most “free” money apps start by asking for a bank login. That is convenient until the connector breaks or the parent company shuts the product down. You can still have net worth, budgets, and goals without handing over credentials.

What you give up, and what you gain

You give up magic auto-import from every institution. You gain a picture that does not die when Plaid, Open Banking, or a parent-company roadmap blinks. After Mint, that trade-off is the product for a lot of people.

On-device by default

Iron Wealth stores app financial data on your device. We do not need bank logins to show your number. Optional encrypted backup is a setting, not the default product. The marketing site may use analytics; the ledger does not become an ad graph.

Who should still use an aggregator

If you need a firehose of categorized transactions with no tapping, a remaining bank-link app may feel easier on day one. This path is for people who would rather own a smaller, correct picture.

Questions

Can I import a bank CSV without logging in?
Yes. Import statements when you want history. Bank login is still not required.
Is a no-bank-login app less accurate?
It is as accurate as the balances you enter. A broken connector is also inaccurate. You choose the update cadence.
Is the free core enough to start?
Yes. Free includes 3 accounts, budgets, goals, Finance AI, and basic insights. Pro unlocks unlimited accounts and planning.

Download Iron Wealth and start with the accounts you actually own. No bank password, no required aggregator.

Ready to know your worth?

Free core features on iOS and Android. Pro unlocks advanced planning when you need it.
