Which Kenyan wallets and banks can it log?
Wallets: M-Pesa, Airtel Money, T-Kash, and Chipper Cash. Banks: Equity, KCB, Co-operative Bank, NCBA, Absa Kenya, and Stanbic Kenya. Any other account works as one you update yourself.
What does an M-Pesa alert turn into?
An M-Pesa message such as Ksh 500.00 sent to Jane Wanjiku becomes a 500 KES expense to Jane Wanjiku on your M-Pesa account, for you to confirm. Balance-only and promotional messages are skipped.
Shillings next to dollars
A USD savings or salary account stays in dollars. Dual display shows the headline in KES and a second currency. Moving money from M-Pesa to your bank is one transfer between your own accounts, not income.
Chamas and money sent home
A chama contribution is a real outflow from M-Pesa. The rotating savings calculator compares an early and late payout slot. Money you send to family stays visible in the currency it left in.
What stays on the phone?
The ledger stays on your device. Alerts are read only from the apps you choose. Optional biometric lock and exports you control.

- Can Iron Wealth track M-Pesa automatically?
- On Android, yes. Allow notification access and choose M-Pesa. The M-PESA SMS counts. On iOS 27 and later, use the Shortcuts automation. On earlier iOS, add the wallet and log payments yourself.
- Does it need my M-Pesa PIN?
- No. It reads the alert on your phone. It never asks for a PIN and cannot move money.
- Is it an official Safaricom app?
- No. Iron Wealth is an independent tracker. It is not affiliated with Safaricom.
